קַפְדָּן, קוֹפְדָןm. (preced. wds.) hot-tempered, impetuous, opp. עִנְוְתָן. Ab. II, 5 לא הק׳ מלמד (Ar. הקו׳) an impatient man cannot be a teacher. Sabb.30b bot., v. עִנְוְתָן; Ab. dR. N. ch. XV. Snh.113a sq.
